I love this cafe. Me and upper Fillmore, we're not always pals. However the Grove is worth weathering the nouveau riche and the yuppies for the great atmosphere, super nice staff and tasty food.


Nice rich wood walls. Well priced red wines. A chicken pot pie that is to die for. Cafe sized tables good to sit and write at, leather couches near a fireplace, and free wifi. I usually go here at night to write and enjoy the candlelit woodsy feel and work on writing with either a great coffee drink or a glass of wine.
