Great Mexican Food, Friendly Service

Great Mexican food and great, friendly service. We've never had a problem here. We love the food, and the staff is patient, friendly and helpful. The owner even jokes around with our kids when we bring them, which makes them feel good. El Norteno is probably our favorite place to eat in Kinston.

Worst Customer Service in Kinston

I like the Taco Bells in other places, but the one here in Kinston is atrocious. From serving stale food, to refusing to fix fresh food to being argumentative and ill-tempered to doing nothing but gossiping behind the counter, I still wonder how anyone at this place has a job. Oh, and I haven't been inside and gotten through the line in less than 30 minutes in literally over two years. And that's not because the place is packed either. There are usually no more than two people ahead of us in line, and it is usually 45 minutes before we can get out of there with our food, no less than 30 minutes. I absolutely refuse to eat here again.

Decent Food, Pitiful Service

When the food is good, it's hard to beat. Unfortunately, you never know from one trip to the next how the food will be. It could be fresh and perfect, or it could be dry from being overcooked, or worse, from sitting in a warmer forever.

But the food isn't the big issue at this particular Bojangles'... it's the service. I almost never get the correct order. And that's not an exageration... almost never do I get what I ordered. And God forbid you complain, because then you have to deal with some of the illest-tempered people on the planet.
