Nice Joint!

I have been going to Hunky's for years. The food is always predictably good. A great place to people watch or hang out with friends. Prices aren't outrageous either. Located in the heart of Dallas' gay district, there is rarely a dull moment but Hunky's is nice enough for me to take my parents for a "homemade" burger and a beer.

Great Food at a Reasonable Price.

Great Food: I really like this place. I enjoy going and hae a nice sit down meal because the food is great and the service is always friendly. I also like to order take out. The prices either way are very fair. I love ordering a pizza, picking it up and taking it home. I do wish they offered delivery service though.

Used to be the best....now it's very good.

I have been visitng El Fenix locations in the Dallas area all of my life. Growing up it was a place to go get good Tex-Mex food for a reasonable price. Through the years and after adding franchise locations, El Fenix has some of it's luster, however. The quality has slipped a bit and the prices have gone up considerably. I would definitely still recommend El Fenix as a good place to eat, just not my favorite Tex-Mex anymore.

Down with "Dallitude"!!!

Great place to relax!!!: A great neighborhood / video / live entertainment bar with a diverse crowd and an always friendly staff. Nice ambiance and and always a decent crowd with a lot less of the "Dallitude" that you find at most other locations on the strip. From the not-so-innocent, young to the the gracefully not-so-young, Alexandre's caters to them all. The prices are a little steep, but sometimes you gotta pay for sitting at a solid granite bar with hot bartenders and live entertainment. Uhm.....more like you always gotta pay for those features. Never had a bad experience at Alexandre's. Alexandre's is small and can get a little cramped at times, but ususally that's not a bad thing! :)
