Old Fashioned Malt Shop

An old fashioned malt shop in the Village with everything from hot dogs to Rubens. They have two counters of ice cream both fat-free and regular along with real old-fashioned bottled sodas like Cream and Root Beer - great for a root beer float - much better than canned sodas at other places. Service is good with the new owners. Lunch runs $5 and up. On-Street Parking is limited - the municipal lot is about a block away. Stop by for great ice cream treats or lunch.

Darts and More

A real British Pub in the Village. They have about a dozen beers on tap and 2 dozen bottled beers. They also have a full old-fashioned style bar and allow smoking inside. Pets welcome! There's a couple of tables outside and darts and pool inside. Live music a couple of nights a week and a night club upstairs for dancing. Bartenders are kept running most nights as it gets crowded. Parking is just across the street in the municipal lot. What more could you want - atmosphere, beer and darts.

Cuban-Mex Delight

A Mexican restaurant owned by a Cuban family for many years with good traditional Mexican food and some Cuban dishes. A large menu with large portions, luncheon specials from $5 to $10 and dinners under $10. A warm and inviting Mexican atmosphere inside and out with ample parking both out front and in back. Excellent service by friendly servers.

Locals Spot

Locals spot with a limited menu (most items under $10), mostly good metro southern fare including great burgers. Daily lunch and dinner specials around $10 and up. Brunch menu with just a few choices starting with a traditional breakfast at $5. Full bar and live music several nights each week. Service varies. A old-time atmosphere inside with some historic accents and outdoor seating available both out back (Tiki Bar style) or out front sidewalk seating. Ample parking with municipal lots on two sides across the street.

Pizza With An Irish Flavor

Delicious Italian entrees as well as pizza and a full bar, all with an Irish flavor. A nice friendly family place to drop by for a relaxing meal. You can eat indoors or there is sidewalk dining overlooking a town park. Most entrees are under $10 and the slices of pizza are huge! Parking is a problem during the afternoon rush hour as there is no private parking - just on the street unless you use the municipal lot 2 blocks away. The servers are attentive and the wait is not too long.

Brick Oven Delight

Ossorio's is both a coffee house and a brick oven (pizza and more) right in the Village. All bread and pastries are prepared fresh each day. An unusual menu with both breakfast and lunch/dinner items you won't find elsewhere, most under $10. The food is good and they have lots of home-made ice cream choices too! The service is friendly and prompt though the line at the counter can get long. Seating is plentiful inside with some outdoor seating. Parking on-street is limited but the municipal lot is only a block away. Monday night there's a jazz trio playing standards. Great place to eat for vegans!
